Himachal Pradesh: National Highway-05 Closed as Road Caves In Latest News: Due to road caving in  Kinnaur, National Highway-05 remains closed, the Himachal Pradesh chief minister informed today.

Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu added that devastation is continuously being reported from various parts of the state, as torrential rains and landslides continue.

A stream in the Kullu district is in spate. Meanwhile, in Dhalpur, a woman was caught in a landslide. Two people were injured in Manali in a related incident. In Old Manali, also, a stream is once again in spate, while in Ani, a house was completely buried by a massive landslide.

A massive landslide from the hillside has also occurred in Gurudwara Colony. The chief minister expressed his condolences to all the affected families.

Relief and rescue teams of the state are working round the clock. Sukhu has urged people of the state to exercise caution and follow the administration's instructions.

Three districts, Chamba, Kangra and Kullu have been warned of extremely heavy rainfall today under a red alert. Heavy rainfall has been forecast for the remaining districts.
