Haryana Bus Accident: 25 Injured as Roadways Bus Overturns in Kaithal, latest news: A Haryana Roadways bus travelling from Krodha to Narwana met with an accident in Kaithal, Haryana, leaving 25 out of the 35 passengers injured. According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred when the bus veered off the road and overturned into a field while trying to give way to an oncoming truck.
The accident took place between the villages of Jakholi and Kasan in Kaithal. Locals reported that the road between these villages is narrow. As the bus approached the village of Kasan, a truck approached from the opposite direction. In an attempt to make way, the bus driver moved one of the wheels off the paved road. Due to recent heavy rainfall on Saturday night, the soil alongside the road had become soft and loose. As soon as the bus wheel touched the muddy patch, it sank into the ground, causing the driver to lose control. The bus then overturned into a field approximately 8 feet below the road level.
Eyewitnesses described scenes of chaos as the bus, full of passengers, flipped and crashed. The windshield shattered on impact, and passengers were thrown onto each other, resulting in multiple serious injuries.
Locals rushed to the scene immediately. Some climbed onto the overturned bus and began pulling injured passengers out. Emergency services were informed, and police arrived shortly after to begin rescue and relief operations. All the injured individuals were transported to various hospitals in Kaithal for treatment.
The bus was on its scheduled route from Krodha to Narwana and had departed in the morning.
