Father is a Martyr; Son of Haryana ASI Sandeep Lathar Vow to Fulfill His Dreams Latest News: The last rites of ASI Sandeep Lathar were performed today in Jind, Haryana. Haryana Police ASI Sandeep Lathar was found dead under suspicious circumstances in Rohtak on 14 October.
Family members and a neighbor stated that he “sacrificed himself” against alleged corruption and called to him a “martyr.”
Speaking to the media after the funeral procession, ASI Lathar’s daughter said, “My father sacrificed himself against corruption. He is a martyr. My family and I hope that Haryana Police and the state government will support us.”
His son also expressed similar sentiments, saying, “I am proud of my father. I will fulfil all his dreams.”
Additionally, the deceased’s neighbor, Vicky Sharma, said, “We just hope that justice is served. We don’t want any enmity with anyone. Our brother is a martyr. He sacrificed himself, he did not commit suicide.”
