The iPhone X celebrates the 10th anniversary of Apple's
smartphone, featuring a radical redesign and new technology. Tim Cook also
introduced the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, with screen sizes of 4.7-inch and
5.5-inch, respectively. Like the iPhone X, the devices also have an all-glass
design and can be charged wirelessly. Moreover, a third generation of iWatch
and a 4K Apple TV were also announced.
Apple has unveiled the £1,000 iPhone X, the latest
generation of its flagship device. The all-glass device has an edge-to-edge
display and no home button. It unlocks using facial recognition software and
features wireless charging along with 3 gigs of RAM. Tim Cook also launched the iPhone 8 and
iPhone 8 Plus, and can be charged wirelessly. The screen itself , called a super Retina
Display, is a 1125x2436 OLED display reportedly made by Samsung.
Apple is also set to introduce Apple Watch 3 or Apple Watch Series 3 in a new avatar that will not only show you the steps you have taken and the calories you burnt, but also be capable enough to monitor blood glucose levels (read no more painful needles). What is also going to set apart the new smartwatch from its predecessors is the rumored support for LTE connectivity.
Apple is likely to add 4K and HDR video compatibility to the new video streaming box. In addition to higher resolution compatibility, there might be a new list of partner apps or services to go with the new 4K Apple TV. Inside are dual 12-megapixel cameras, just like in iPhone 8 Plus, with f/1.8 and f/2.4 apertures. Dual optical image stabilization mitigates shakes in both cameras.
