New Delhi: WhatsApp continues to offer new features to the users day by day and now the messaging app is working on another new feature. According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is beta testing a feature linked to QR code scanning.

It has been stated that it will be easier for users to add content to their list by scanning the QR Code scan. According to a report by WhatsApp beta tracking website Info, QR code scanning was first introduced in the iOS beta and is now being rolled out in the Android beta. This feature is available in version 2.20.171 of the app.

The beta notes state that the QR code can be revoked if users now decide not to share their number with anyone else. It is unknown at this time when this feature will be rolled out to all users but it is expected to be rolled out to all users in the next few days.

Recently, WhatsApp had decided that users will now be able to post 30 seconds of video on their status instead of 15 seconds. A few days ago, the company made a change and allowed only 15 seconds of video to be posted on statuses instead of 30 seconds. The company has given a big reason behind the change.

Users will now be able to reset the status to 30 seconds instead of 15 seconds. Earlier, it was reported that the move was taken to reduce server infrastructure and traffic in the Lockdown in India. Many users were not happy with the change.
