Select copra recovers on fresh demand

Copra office alappuzha and copra office kozhikode recovered at the spices market here today on fresh demand from stockists and retailers amid good export offtake. While, other spices held stable in the absence of any large-scale buying activities. Copra office alappuzha regained by Rs 200 per quintal to Rs 12,000 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 11,800 and copra office kozhikode rose by Rs 100 per quintal to Rs 11,800 as against Rs 11,700, respectively.

Black pepper (per kg) 350/400 (350/400), ginger unbleached (per kg) 165 (165), copra office Alapuzha (per quintal) 12,000 (11,800), copra office Kozhikode (per quintal) 11,800 (11,700), copra Rajapur Mumbai (per quintal) 19,600 (19,600), copra edible Mumbai (per quintal) 15,100 (15,100).
