Petrol and diesel prices have continued to rise for the tenth day in a row. On Tuesday, petrol price in Delhi has gone up by 47 paise

New Delhi: Petrol and diesel prices have continued to rise for the tenth day in a row. On Tuesday, petrol price in Delhi has gone up by 47 paise to Rs 76.73 per litre.

Diesel price has also been hiked by 55 paise to Rs 75.19 per litre. According to Indian Oil's website, diesel and petrol prices in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai on June 16 are:

Consumers, who have been facing increase in petrol and diesel prices since the beginning of this month, are not expected to get relief for at least two weeks.

State-owned oil marketing companies said that the process of raising the prices of both the petroleum products will continue till the buying-selling gap closes at Rs 8 per litre.

Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum revise petrol and diesel rates daily at 6 am.
