Tej Pratap Yadav Expelled from RJD Amid Viral Post; Spotlight on Anushka Yadav

Tej Pratap Yadav Expelled from RJD Amid Viral Post; Spotlight on Anushka Yadav latest news: In a significant development within the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), party chief Lalu Prasad Yadav has expelled his elder son, Tej Pratap Yadav, from the party for a period of six years. The decision follows a viral social media post featuring Tej Pratap and Anushka Yadav, along with a reference to a personal relationship spanning 13 years and some reports say 12 years.

The post, which was shared via Tej Pratap’s verified Facebook account, quickly drew public attention. Shortly after, Tej Pratap removed the post, claiming his account had been hacked and denying any involvement in publishing the message.

Who is Anushka Yadav?
Anushka Yadav, who has come into the media spotlight following the incident, hails from Patna, Bihar. She is the sister of Akash Yadav, a former member of the RJD’s student wing (Chhatra RJD). Akash Yadav was once appointed president of the student organization at the recommendation of Tej Pratap.

Notably, Tej Pratap had earlier voiced strong opposition when Akash was removed from his position, openly challenging the party leadership at the time. Akash Yadav has since moved on to another political outfit.

The Yadav family, including Anushka, resides in Patna. Her father’s name is Manoj Yadav.

In an official statement, Lalu Prasad Yadav yesterday, on Sunday, wrote, “Disregard for moral values in personal life weakens our collective struggle for social justice. The activities, public behavior, and irresponsible conduct of my elder son do not align with our family values and traditions.”

The matter has sparked both public and political discourse, underscoring the expectations of personal conduct within political families and the challenges of navigating public life in the age of social media.
