Bihar News: “There Won't Be a Single Family Without a Govt Job,” Says RJD Leader Tejashwi Yadav, Announced as Mahagathbandhan's CM Face
Tejashwi also alleged that after the elections, the NDA would “destroy” the JD(U).
Bihar News, RJD Leader Tejashwi Yadav, Announced as Mahagathbandhan’s CM Face Latest News: RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav on Thursday declared that if his government comes to power, there would not be a single family in Bihar without a government job.
Speaking at a Mahagathbandhan press conference in Patna, Tejashwi also alleged that the NDA was doing injustice to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, claiming that the BJP was planning not to project him as the CM face if the alliance returns to power.
“We have held a joint press conference. Injustice is being done to Nitish Kumar in the NDA. Not even a single joint press conference has been held by them. No official announcement has been made regarding their CM face. We have been saying from the beginning that the BJP will not make Nitish Kumar the Chief Minister,” Tejashwi Yadav said.
He further questioned the BJP’s silence over the issue, saying, “The BJP will not make Nitish Kumar the Chief Minister again. No one has confirmed it, but Amit Shah’s statements make it clear. The NDA has been in power for 20 consecutive years. You’ve always announced your Chief Ministerial candidate — why aren’t you announcing Nitish Kumar as the CM candidate this time?”
Tejashwi also alleged that after the elections, the NDA would “destroy” the JD(U).
“After the elections, they will finish JD(U). The party will cease to exist,” he said.
The RJD leader assured that his government would deliver in 20 months what the NDA allegedly failed to achieve in 20 years.
“I can say with confidence that not in 5 years — give us 20 months, and Tejashwi and our government will accomplish what these people couldn’t do in 20 years. We have pledged that there will be no family without a government job,” Yadav asserted.
Reiterating his commitment to integrity and reform, he added, “Even if Tejashwi’s own shadow does something wrong, Tejashwi will ensure it is punished — that’s my resolve. We will build a new Bihar.”
Tejashwi Yadav has officially been announced as the Chief Ministerial face of the Mahagathbandhan in Bihar.
Following the announcement, senior Congress leader Ashok Gehlot said, “Naturally, it was going to be Tejashwi’s name. Rahul Gandhi and everyone else had already considered him as our CM face.”
Other leaders present at the press conference included Congress leader Pawan Khera, Bihar Congress chief Rajesh Ram, and CPI(ML) Liberation leader Dipankar Bhattacharya, among others.
Tejashwi further stated at the press conference, “Tejashwi will not run the Bihar government by himself; the whole of Bihar will collectively run the government. If Tejashwi becomes CM, then all the people of Bihar will become Chief Ministers alongside him.”
RJD MP Sanjay Yadav told reporters, “The most important thing is that the 20-year-old useless government needs to be removed, and a young leader is going to become the Chief Minister of Bihar.”
RJD leader Mrityunjay Tiwari added, “The 14 crore people of Bihar have already accepted Tejashwi Yadav as their CM. Mukesh Sahani has been announced as the Deputy CM face. This shows the unity of the Mahagathbandhan. On the other hand, the NDA doesn’t even have the courage to announce Nitish Kumar as their CM face. All is well with us.”
Commenting on the NDA’s lack of clarity, Congress leader Pawan Khera said, “The NDA hasn’t even announced a name yet; they’re saying MLAs will decide their leader later. Tell me, who is late? Bihar is already 20 years late on the path to development. We’ve finalised our strategy for all seats — there is no confusion on our side.”
