Patna, On the death anniversary (Balidan Diwas) of Bharatiya Jana Sangh founder and ardent nationalist Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, many party leaders and workers including State President Dr. Dilip Jaiswal paid emotional tribute to him in the Smriti Diwas program organized at the Bihar BJP State Office. On this occasion, BJP State President Dr. Jaiswal recalled Dr. Mukherjee's nationalist views, his sacrifice for the complete integration of Jammu and Kashmir and his contribution in strengthening the ideological foundation of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Tribute was paid to Dr. Mukherjee in the Smriti Diwas program organized at the Atal Auditorium of the BJP State Office. BJP State President Dr. Dilip Jaiswal said that Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee sacrificed his life for the unity and integrity of the country, today we are remembering his deeds. He said that there can be no greater and truer tribute to him than the removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. His wish was that there should be one flag, one constitution and one head in this country.
He also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for removing Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. He said that there can be no greater work than this to pay tribute to him.
BJP State President Dr. Jaiswal said that he became the Vice Chancellor at the age of just 33. It can be understood how great an educationist and thinker he was.
He recalled that when the country was being divided, many areas including Kishanganj, Siliguri, Malda had gone to Pakistan, this area is also called 'Chicken Neck'. But today we are proud to call ourselves Hindustani, because I myself come from Kishanganj. Today the credit for this also goes to Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee.
BJP State President Dr. Jaiswal prayed to God and said that wherever his soul is, may God grant it immortality.
