Bihar Badlav Yatra: Prashant Kishor Addresses Public, Takes a Dig at Health Minister Mangal Pandey

Bihar Badlav Yatra: Prashant Kishor Addresses Public, latest news: Prashant Kishor, the architect of Jan Suraaj, addressed two public meetings today in the Ekma constituency of Saran district as part of the "Bihar Badlav Yatra", a campaign aimed at complete revolution and systemic change in Bihar. His first public meeting was held at Janata Bazaar sports ground in Lahladpur block, and the second at Lachhu Baram Baba ground in Karnpura, Amdadhi. Before addressing the gatherings, Prashant Kishor offered prayers at Gopaleshwar Nath Dham, where the people of Ekma welcomed him by weighing him with laddoos.

Responding to journalists' questions, Prashant Kishor took a dig at Bihar’s Health Minister Mangal Pandey, saying that he doesn’t even recognize Pandey as the health minister. He criticized him for his inaction during the COVID-19 pandemic, pointing out that millions of people walked back home on foot during that time, and yet Pandey, who was the health minister then, did nothing substantial. Kishor urged the youth and people of Bihar to remember this failure.

He also targeted Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, stating that it's only now, during elections, that he seems concerned about farmers. Despite being in power for 20 years, farmers still do not receive fair prices for their crops. Kishor emphasized that this time, people should not vote for Lalu, Nitish, or Modi—but rather for a system where the common people rule. He called on voters to support education and employment for their children.

In his public address, Kishor said that in Bihar, officers and politicians take bribes for everything—from issuing ration cards to processing land documents—causing hardship to ordinary citizens. He appealed to the people of Ekma not to vote for those leaders who exploit them and their children. “Next time, don’t vote by looking at politicians' faces. Look at your children's faces. Vote for their education and employment. Establish a government that belongs to the people,” he said.
