'Tiger Abhi Zinda Hai', says BJP MP Deepak Prakash as NDA crosses majority mark, leads on 185 seats in Bihar
“that the contest is now directly between the Election Commission of India and the people of Bihar": Pawan Khera
The National Democratic Alliance has crossed the majority mark and is leading on 185 seats, with JD(U) leading on 76, BJP on 83, LJP(RV) on 22, and HAM(S) on 4, according to ANI.
As the NDA continues its comfortable lead, BJP MP Deepak Prakash told ANI, "...The results have proven that 'Tiger Abhi Zinda Hai' and he will work even better now."
"This is a victory of the public of Bihar. It is clear that a double-engine government is going to be formed here. Congratulations to the voters here. People trust PM Modi and Nitish Kumar. BJP-NDA workers have worked hard and the speed of development will further pick up pace...The results have proven that 'Tiger Abhi Zinda Hai' and he will work even better now,” Deepak Prakash said.
LJP-Ram Vilas MP Shambhavi Chaudhary, speaking to ANI, said, "We had already said that people in Bihar want development, not change. The negative mindset with which the Mahagathbandhan conducts its politics has already been rejected by the people of Bihar many years ago."
Meanwhile, Congress leader Pawan Khera, taking a jibe at the Election Commission of India, said, “that the contest is now directly between the Election Commission of India and the people of Bihar.”
“Let’s see who wins. I'm not even talking about parties. I'm talking about a direct, straight contest between CEC Gyanesh Kumar and the people of Bihar,” Khera asserted while responding to a media query.
