Neck-and-neck fight in Bihar's Raghopur seat: RJD's Tejashwi Yadav leading; BJP's Satish Kumar trails by 585 votes

At the 8th round of vote counting, RJD's Tejashwi Yadav is currently leading, while BJP’s Satish Kumar is trailing by a margin of 585 votes. A total of 22 rounds are still left, and the seat can swing either way.

On the larger front, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is currently leading on 90 seats out of the 243 seats in the Bihar Assembly Election 2025, as per data provided on the Election Commission of India website.

Meanwhile, Janata Dal (United) – JD(U) is leading on 80 seats, Rashtriya Janata Dal – RJD on 29 seats, Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) – LJPRV on 20 seats, Indian National Congress – INC on 5 seats and All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen – AIMIM  on 5 seats.

Similarly, Rashtriya Lok Morcha – RSHTLKM on 4 seats, Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) (Liberation) - CPI(ML)(L) on 4 seats, Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) – HAMS  on 4 seats, Communist Party of India (Marxist) - CPI(M) on 1 seat and Bahujan Samaj Party – BSP on one.
