PSEB Declares Punjabi Olympiad Results; NRI Students Shine Globally

The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has announced the results of the 3rd International Punjabi Language Olympiad, revealing a massive increase in participation. 

PSEB Chairman Amarpal Singh confirmed that over 2.25 lakh students registered for the event. The results highlighted the dedication of the Punjabi diaspora, with students from Norway and Kenya securing top positions in the international categories.

In the international category, students from Norway and Kenya dominated the top spots. Niamat Kaur Brar of Punjabi School, Oslo (Norway), clinched the top position. 

Other performers included Simrit Kaur of SGGR Gurmat School, Nairobi (Kenya), and Parmeet Singh Gurm of Punjabi School, Oslo, who both emerged as toppers in the global rankings.

According to the Board's announcement, the first-place winners in each category would receive a cash prize of INR 11,000. Those ranking second to tenth will be awarded prizes of INR 7,100 and INR 5,100, respectively.
