Capsicum Kofta Recipe: Koftas, the beloved vegetable balls, take a vibrant turn with the Capsicum Kofta recipe. This innovative dish incorporates the goodness of red, green, and yellow capsicums, offering a colorful and flavorful twist to the traditional kofta preparation.

Ingredients for Capsicum Koftas:

3/4 cup chopped red, green, and yellow capsicum mix
1/2 cup coarse gram flour
50 gm paneer
2 tsp finely chopped ginger and green chilies
1/2 tsp garam masala
Mustard oil for frying koftas
Salt to taste

Ingredients for Gravy:

1/2 cup onion paste
1/4 cup onion, cut lengthwise
1 tsp ginger and garlic paste
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp red chili powder
1/4 tsp ground cardamom seeds
1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
1 tbsp mustard oil
Salt to taste

Method:

- In a mixing bowl, combine all the kofta ingredients, shaping them into small balls. Fry these koftas in hot oil until golden brown.

- In a non-stick pan, heat a tablespoon of oil and sauté the cut onions until golden brown. Add onion paste and ginger-garlic paste, continuing to fry. Introduce the dry spices, turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder and sauté until the mixture is aromatic.

- Gently place the fried koftas into the pan, adding 2 tablespoons of water. Cover and simmer on low heat until the koftas absorb the flavors and the water evaporates. Transfer the delectable capsicum koftas to a serving plate. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
