Elon Musk's son named after “great Indian physicist Chandrasekhar”
One of his daughters' names is Comet Azure, named after the “most powerful spell in Elden Ring.”
Tech giant Elon Musk on Thursday revealed that the name of one of his sons is kept after the physicist and astrophysicist Chandrasekhar.
The full name of his son is Strider Sekhar, named after Aragorn and the great Indian physicist Chandrasekhar, said Elon.
According to a magazine by the University of Chicago, Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar left India and went to England in 1930. After six years, he returned to India and married a woman. Chandrasekhar then left for Chicago, where he lived for the rest of his life.
Chandrasekhar was born in Lahore in 1910, then British India and now Pakistan, said the magazine.
He was the nephew of C. V. Raman, who received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1930 for demonstrating quantum effects in the scattering of light.
In the magazine, Chandrasekhar is described as a child prodigy, predictor of black holes, Nobel laureate, and a University of Chicago professor for nearly 60 years. He also received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1983.
Coming to Elon Musk, he is a father of 14 children with four different women.
One of his daughters’ names is Comet Azure, named after the “most powerful spell in Elden Ring.”
His children have unusual names such as X Æ A-Xii, Exa Dark Sideræl, and Techno Mechanicus (nicknames X, Y, and Tau).
