Lifestyle, Health

For the last three decades, designer Madhu Jain has revived Indian crafts and textiles within fashion. She's a craft revivalist and textile conservationist—which makes her one of the leading purveyors in the handloom space. Her passion for India's indigenous textiles witnessed various forms of Ikat and even re-introduction of Dhaka Muslin,

Her forte lies in developing textiles with distinctive combinations—creating a whole new textile. Acknowledged with the title of 'the first lady of Ikat', Madhu has now introduced world's first Bamboo Silk Ikat. The new textile is a result of 14 years of hard work and extensive research.
