Punjab Government to Recruit 174 Professors; Recruitment Process Underway to Address Nurse Shortage Too
The shortage of professors at Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) and its associated hospitals in Punjab is set to be addressed. The government has approved the recruitment of around 174 associate and assistant professors. The application process for these positions has now begun.
The application process will continue until November 3, after which further stages of recruitment will take place. It is expected that the new professors will join the institutions by January. The university will oversee the completion of the recruitment process.
Recruitment Process Details:
According to information, the university will recruit 41 professors, 27 associate professors, and 106 assistant professors. The entire recruitment process will be conducted online, and applicants will need to visit the university’s website to apply.
Soon, the online application forms will be made available, containing rules and other conditions related to the recruitment. The department aims to complete the process on a priority basis.
406 Nurses to Join Hospitals Soon
Alongside the recruitment of professors, the government is also working to address the shortage of nurses. The written test for 406 nurse positions has already been conducted, and the next steps will follow shortly. The government claims that completing this process will improve hospital operations. This recruitment initiative began in August.
