Farmers Protest 2024: An image is doing rounds on Social Media in which a bullet can be seen stuck in an food utensil cover. It is being claimed that this image came from Khanauri Border where police fired on farmers and this image is a proof of the same.

Facebook user Baljeet Sandhu Maluka shared this viral image in the name Farmer's protest at Khanauri Border.

Spokesman in it's investigation found the viral claim to be misleading. This viral image has no connection with ongoing Farmer's Protest. This picture is of an incident that happened on the border of Myanmar and Bangladesh.

Starting our investigation, we did reverse image search on the viral picture."Viral Image Has No Connection With Farmer's Protest"

We found this image on an news article published by dailynayadiganta dated 16 Feb 2024. According to this report published in Bengali language, heavy firing once again took place in Teknaf on the border of Shahparir Island and St. Martin. The massive explosions shook the area and spread panic among the local people.
 
"According to BD News report, a tense situation is being witnessed in the border areas of Bangladesh due to the ongoing clashes between Myanmar Army and rebel groups."

This image has been published by many Bangladeshi Media Outlets.
