Arvind Kejriwal skips 7th ED summon today latest news

Arvind Kejriwal Latest News: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal skipped the 7th ED summons on Monday for questioning related to the excise policy scam. Aam Aadmi Party stated that the matter was in court wherein the next hearing is scheduled for March 16.

Aam Aadmi Party also stated that instead of sending daily summons, the ED should wait for the court's decision. The party believes it's better for the ED to wait for the court's decision before continuing to summon Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal.

Notably, Arvind Kejriwal has received 7 summons from the Enforcement Directorate regarding the Excise policy scam. Despite being summoned six times before, Kejriwal hasn't gone to the ED office for questioning. He was supposed to appear before the probe agency on February 26, but he didn't show up.

Aam Aadmi Party claims the summons were unconstitutional and has been questioning their legality in court. Interestingly, the ED itself has taken the matter to court.

The probe agency has alleged that Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal was intentionally avoiding compliance with the summons and making excuses.
