Facebook and Instagram Down News Today: Prominent Meta apps Facebook and Instagram witnessed a technical snag on Wednesday causing panic among the people who have been using the application for a long time. People wondered why the Facebook and Instagram apps were not working.
It may be recalled that Facebook and Instagram were down a few days ago as well. Meanwhile, people took to X, formerly known as 'Twitter', to express their disappointment after 'Facebook and Instagram' went down again and the news hit the headlines to know why these apps were not working.
DownDetector, the website that keeps a log of all website outages, also reported that several users are facing issues on these platforms.
One of the users wrote, "Facebook and Instagram are not working." One another wrote: "Facebook and Instagram, What Happened?"
"Anyone else freaks out and thinks they were being hacked?" wrote another. One more user wrote: "Facebook and Instagram users flocking to X to check if these websites are down."
"Me after checking on Twitter that Meta is just down and I'm not hacked since my Instagram isn’t loading and my Facebook got session logged out," said one another. "The social media platforms Instagram and Facebook, both owned by Meta, are currently experiencing an outage. If you are having trouble logging in, there is no need to panic, you didn't get hacked (I panicked too)," one more user commented.
