Who is Nayab Singh Saini likely to be new CM of Haryana

Who is Nayab Singh Saini? Amidst Manohar Lal Khattar's resignation as the Chief Minister of Haryana, Nayab Singh Saini, a member of the Other Backward Classes (OBC) community, has been appointed as the new Chief Minister of Haryana.

Ahead of the BJP Legislature Party meeting in Haryana, political uncertainty has emerged. Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Tuesday resigned along with his cabinet. 

Amidst this situation, speculation surrounded the names of Karnal MP Sanjay Bhatia and Haryana BJP state president Nayab Singh Saini as a candidate for the position of the new Chief Minister.

Who is Nayab Singh Saini?

Nayab Singh Saini, the current BJP state president in Kurukshetra, has a long history within the party. He served as an assistant in the Haryana BJP state general secretary's office from 1996 to 2000 before taking on various leadership roles, including district president of Yuva Morcha BJP in Ambala in 2005 and district president of BJP Ambala in 2012. 

In 2014, he became an MLA from Narayan Garh Vidhan Sabha and later served as a Minister of State in the Haryana government in 2016. He was elected as Member of Parliament from Kurukshetra in 2019 and subsequently appointed as the state president of BJP in Haryana by the central leadership.
