Snapchat Down in India: Now, users being able to send snaps, services restore partially
Users have not been able to send messages and snaps to their friends.
Snapchat Down in India: Days after the Groww App went down, Snapchat users reported a technical glitch as they claimed that the application was down and that they had not been able to send messages and snaps to their friends. However, the outage remained only for a few hours as it started working at around 1:40 pm.
As per the outage-detecting platform 'Downdetector', as many as 80 percent of the users were facing problems with the applications.
In the meanwhile, it was also reported that over 15 percent of users were facing problems with uploading while 4 percent of the users reported issues with the website.
Social media users mocked the platform by posting memes, thoughts, and trolls. One of the users wrote: "Yesterday, Snapchat fired many of their employees. Today, Snapchat is down. The reason behind that could be a fired employee pushed the wrong code into production."
