Jammu and Kashmir Snowfall Alert, Weather Update News: Jammu and Kashmir has been receieving continuous snowfall since last week, and the weather department has warned about avalanches in some areas like Doda, Kishtwar, Poonch, Ramban, Ganderbal, Bandipur, Baramulla, and Kupwara.

In the meanwhile, the tourists, in these areas, have been advised to avoid these places for the next 24 hours to stay safe.

Given the amount of snow, it's getting really cold in many parts of Jammu and Kashmir. Gulmarg had a temperature of -10 degrees Celsius on February 5, which is even colder than the -7 degrees on February 4. On the other hand, Pahalgam also had a freezing night with a temperature of -11.9 degrees Celsius.

Heavy snow is causing problems with travel – roads and flights are affected — making it hard for people in the area. The State Disaster Management Authority is urging people to stay cautious and avoid unnecessary outings.

Apart from Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and other states in the North India saw rainfall on Monday while some places remained cloudy on Tuesday. It's interesting how different places are experiencing various weather conditions, bringing challenges for everyone in these regions.
