Facebook and Instagram Down News, META Apps Not Working Amid Mark Zuckerberg's India visit: While Meta chief Mark Zuckerberg is on a visit to India for Mukesh Ambani's son Anant and Radhika Merchant's pre-wedding festivities, social media applications, owned by Meta, including Facebook and Instagram are down and facing outage across the country on Tuesday.
In the meanwhile, WhatsApp is working fine, sighing relief to the people who constantly work on these social media platforms.
While WhatsApp is working and Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube are down, several people took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to confirm the same and express their disappointment over the major outage.
In the meanwhile, Elon Musk took a dig at other platforms and said, "If you’re reading this post, it’s because our servers are working." Likewise, an X user wrote: "Since Mark Zuckerberg is in India, Ambani should ask him why Instagram and Facebook are down and get it resolved ASAP."
"Instagram and Facebook Down Globally… Meanwhile, Mark Zuckerberg is enjoying a wedding in India," wrote another. One more user commented, "Mark Zuckerberg enjoying the wedding of Anant Ambani in India while facebook is down along with Instagram & threads."
