Facebook and Instagram Down News, META Apps Not Working, WhatsApp Working: While social media applications, owned by Meta, including Facebook and Instagram are down and facing outage across the country on Tuesday, WhatsApp is working fine, sighing relief to the people who constantly work on these social media platforms.
While WhatsApp is working and Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube are down, several people took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to confirm the same and express their disappointment over the major outage.
In the meanwhile, Elon Musk took a dig at other platforms and said, "If you’re reading this post, it’s because our servers are working."
Notably, WhatsApp is working absolutely fine and people are taking a sigh of relief that at least one Meta App is working fine.
On Facebook and Instagram not working, netizens started posting memes on social media. One of the users wrote, "Facebook and Instagram are not working." One another wrote: "Facebook and Instagram, What Happened?"
"Anyone else freaks out and thinks they were being hacked?" wrote another. One more user wrote: "Facebook and Instagram users flocking to X to check if these websites are down."
"Me after checking on Twitter that Meta is just down and I'm not hacked since my Instagram isn’t loading and my Facebook got session logged out," said one another. "The social media platforms Instagram and Facebook, both owned by Meta, are currently experiencing an outage. If you are having trouble logging in, there is no need to panic, you didn't get hacked (I panicked too)," one more user commented.
