PSEB, Punjab Board, Class 10 and 12 Board Exams 2024: The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) on Saturday issued strict directives for the upcoming 10th and 12th board exams, scheduled to commence on February 12 and concluding on March 30. Students appearing for these exams are instructed not to wear shoes and socks during the examination. To address any concerns, the search of any student will only be conducted by female invigilators.
Additionally, the Board has emphasized the importance of maintaining discipline and instructed all the superintendents to ensure that no student wears shoes or socks inside the examination hall. Female invigilators are mandated to conduct searches if required. The Board has explicitly mentioned that any student found violating these rules will face strict action.
Moreover, the use of electronic devices, including mobile phones, is strictly prohibited during exams. The Board has directed superintendents to ensure that no student carries unauthorized items and to take immediate action if any candidate is found using electronic devices during the examination.

6.  Security Measures:  In and around the examination centers, Section 144 will be imposed, emphasizing the need for maintaining order and security.
7.  Duty of Invigilators:  Invigilators should strictly adhere to their duties, and female invigilators will play a crucial role in search procedures. Punctuality and adherence to guidelines are essential for a smooth examination process.
8.  Additional Instructions for Re-exams: Students appearing for re-exams are instructed that only the specific question paper related to the re-exam will be provided. No additional material from previous exams will be allowed.
