'Peepli Live' actor Sitaram Panchal passes away
Mumbai: Bollywood actor Sitaram Panchal passed away early morning today after battling kidney and lung cancer. He was 54. The actor, who made his Bollywood debut in 1994 with "Bandit Queen" and went on to feature in critically-acclaimed films such as, "Peepli Live", "Slumdog Millionaire", "Paan Singh Tomar" and "Jolly LLB 2", died at his residence here, family sources confirmed.
Sharmila Tagore files complaint to claim Bhopal royal property
Bhopal: Veteran actress Sharmila Tagore has filed a complaint on behalf of the Bhopal royal family against occupants of a prime residential property in the picturesque Koh-e-Fiza area here, following which the district administration issued notices to them. Sharmila, widow of cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi and mother of actor Saif Ali Khan, has claimed ownership of the property.

New Delhi: Akshay Kumar today said his film "Toilet: Ek Prem Katha" has been cleared by the Central Board of Film Certification with only three cuts. There were reports that the film certification body had asked for eight cuts but Akshay said reports were not correct.
Ajay, Milan rubbish reports of deleting intimate scene from 'Baadshaho'
Mumbai: Ajay Devgn and Milan Luthria have dismissed reports that the latter has chopped off an intimate scene from their upcoming film "Baadshaho" to avoid the wrath of Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). There were reports that the "Baadshaho" director, Luthria, had deleted an intimate sequence between Devgn and the film's female lead Ileana D'Cruz before the board could raise any object.
