Punjabi singer Singga blackmail news: In a shocking incident, Punjabi singer Singga shared a video on his Instagram in which he claimed that he was blackmailed and asked for Rs 10 lakh. He also alleged that Punjab Police official and a High Court lawyer were involved in it.

In a video shared on Instagram, Singga said, "On 10th August, I was returning from my Gym when my lawyer called me that an FIR has been registered in Kapurthala. After 3-4 days, another FIR  under section 295(A) was registered in Ajnala over the same song. I am not against any religion. Even right now, I am in front of Gurdwara Sohana Sahib. I have always respected all religions, whether I am alone or with someone else."

Punjabi singer Singga blackmail news:

"So, when my lawyer told me that an FIR had been registered against me. It's okay. If I have done wrong, I deserve punishment. But, what if these FIRs are being registered for blackmailing? I present this truth in front of the world. It's a tradition here that if you file FIR under Section 295, then you can ask Rs 10 lakh from him.  I have been asked for Rs 10 lakh after registering an FIR against me. Then they say, that we respect all the religions and that we are giving youth a good direction," he added.

He further said, "I have all the proofs. The side effects of the FIRs are they affect your parents. My father is very upset. My father scolded me. If I can give everything to my parents then I can die for them as well. My father told me, 'You should have died earlier.' I have no issues with any religion. I respect all the religions."

Singga added, "I have been blackmailed and asked Rs 10 lakh. That is also fine. I can tolerate it but my father faced a lot. That's why I wanted to present the truth. It's been five months and no inquiry has been done. Had inquiry been done, I would have not talked about it."

He also said, "I received several threats and that's why I have named 21 people in a mail. If anything happens to me and my father, I would make sure all of them face consequences. I have nothing to do with you. You do your work, I will mind my work. But if anything comes to my family, I won't tolerate it. I know several Punjabi singers have been blackmailed, and they have given money. You thought you would blackmail me as well? I have all the proofs."

Furthermore, Singga asked Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann and Mrs Gurpreet Kaur, "How would you feel if your kid were blackmailed over false FIR? Therefore, I request you to please initiate an inquiry on it. I will submit all the proofs that I have. My family can't deal with it anymore. I can't see my father like this."

He concluded, "If I am wrong, punish me, but if I am right, then they should be punished." (Punjabi singer Singga blackmail news)
