Chandigarh: As part of the state's fight against Covid-19, Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh today launched Mission Fateh song.

The song features performances by famous actors Amitabh Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor, Gurdas Mann and Harbhajan Singh, as well as people from sports and Punjabi cinema, with a message of determination and discipline to defeat the virus and save Punjab.

He said that the war was not over yet and appealed to the people to be aware and follow all the rules of social distance.

The song features local boy Sonu Sood as well as Punjab Police ASI Harjeet Singh and Tiktok Star Noor. Punjabi music director and singer B Praak has sung the song.

Apart from Bollywood celebrities like Soha Ali Khan, Randeep Hooda and Ranvijay, stars of Punjabi films and music industry like Gippy Grewal, Ammy Virk, Jazzy B, Binnu Dhillon, Pammi Bai, Jasbir Jassi, Rajveer Jawanda, Rubina Bajwa, Kulwinder Billa, Karamjit Anmol, Tarsem Jassar, Lakhwinder Wadali, Harjeet Harman also features in this song.

The song, uploaded on Captain Amarinder Singh's Facebook page, features many prominent sports personalities including cricketers Harbhajan Singh, Anjum Moudgil and Avneet Sidhu.

In addition, the message of maintaining social distance, washing hands regularly and wearing a mask when going out has been spread through hoardings and newspaper posters in various cities and villages.

In the coming days, various departments of the Punjab Government under Mission Fateh will work to spread awareness among the people of Punjab that Covid-19 is not over yet and everyone should make this small change in their lifestyle to protect themselves and their families.
