Priests oppose Sunny Leone's proposed New Year performance at hotel in Mathura, UP

In Uttar Pradesh’s Mathura district, some priests have opposed the proposed event in which Bollywood actress Sunny Leone is scheduled to perform at a hotel in the city on the New Year.

In a video statement, a priest, citing information, claimed that Sunny Leone is set to perform at a hotel in Mathura on January 1, 2026. He said that the sadhu community and other priest communities are opposing her participation in the event, alleging that she spreads obscenity in films and is known as a “porn star”.

The priest further warned that action would be taken against such actors organising such events in the city or participating in them.
