Yami Gautam-starrer 'Article 370' movie BANNED in Gulf countries

Yami Gautam-starrer Article 370 Movie Ban News: Yami Gautam's latest film, 'Article 370', has been roaring at the box office and receiving a lot of appreciation from the audience. The film has been inspired by a real-life incident due to which more people are interested in the same.

The film has hit a roadblock as it faces a ban in the Gulf countries. Even though the film has been performing well in both domestic and international markets and garnering a lot of praise from audiences and critics alike, the film's ban in the Gulf countries will affect the film's business in the international market.

However, there has been no official explanation for the ban in the Gulf countries. The move also raises eyebrows, considering the tourism industry and the popularity of Indian cinema in the region. In a similar move, the Gulf countries, except the UAE, had also banned the Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer 'Fighter'.

In 'Article 370', Yami Gautam plays the role of Zooni Haksar, an intelligence officer. The film is set against the backdrop of the valley, revolving around the revocation of Article 370 and the special status of Jammu and Kashmir.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, recently during an address in Jammu, praised the film and expressed his anticipation for its release. He also highlighted the film's potential to provide accurate information on the subject. Likewise, Yami Gautam had also expressed her gratitude on Instagram, expressing hope to meet and exceed the expectations in portraying Zooni Haksar in 'Article 370'.

Helmed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale, the film also features Priyamani, Arun Govil, and Kiran Karmarkar in pivotal roles.
