Who Is Nehal Chudasama? Latest News: Nehal Chudasama, one of the contestants of the BiggBoss Season 19, is a model, actor, fitness consultant, TV host, emcee, a survivor, and, more importantly, a fearless woman.
She was born on 22 August 1996 in Mumbai. She completed her schooling at St. Rock’s School. Later, she went to Thakur College of Science and Commerce. Nehal Chudasama lost her mother when she was just 13, and since then onwards she has been brought up by her father.
She was drawn to modeling from a young age and watching Manasi Moghe represent India at Miss Universe made her passion for the profession grow even stronger.
In 2018, Nehal Chudasama participated in Miss Diva 2018 and won the Miss Diva Universe 2018 title.
She had already won various titles even before winning the Miss Diva Universe 2018 title. She had won Miss Body Beautiful, Miss Multimedia and Anything But Ordinary Diva.
Next, she represented India at Miss Universe 2018, held on 17 December 2018 in Bangkok, Thailand, however, she did not make it to the top 20.
She has worked in web series like The Holiday (2019) and Tu Zakhm Hai (2022). While growing up, she reportedly struggled with being overweight and faced body shaming.
In February this year, she was physically assaulted by a 40-year-old ‘strong-built man’ whom she had known for two years. She was stalked in public places and mentally tortured in ‘innumerable’ ways for months.
She was even threatened by the man to run his car over her, following which she immediately filed an FIR. The abuser had been arrested following the FIR. She said the abuser also had fraud and other criminal cases against him.
She made all these revelations in a post on her Instagram account on the 4th of March, stating she didn't share this to gain any sympathy rather to share a piece of strength with any woman who needs it.”
“I am too traumatized bcz the flashbacks of assault keep haunting me. But I found the strength & pulled myself out within a few days bcz I had to fight & take a stand for myself. Despite being a Victim, I refuse to live in Victimhood. That's just who i am.
I didn't share this to gain any sympathy( i genuinely dont need that) rather to share a piece of strength with any woman who needs it & I'm sure there are many of us bcz If this happened with an empowered woman like me in broad day light in a city like Mumbai, a woman who has advocated women empowerment & uplifted others in every way all her life..then this can happen with any one. Women aren't safe not in households, not in social circles, nowhere.
Haven't shared the abuser's name & details, BUT I WILL AS & WHEN REQUIRED bcz this woman is ANGRY & fearless. WHATEVER IT TAKES,” the caption to her post read.
