Mumbai: After Tamil Nadu and Mumbai, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has given permission to shoot films in Hyderabad. For this he has thanked many people in the film world including actor Chiranjeevi.

Chandrashekhar Rao had announced after a recent meeting that shooting of the film, post-production work, which was halted due to Lockdown, would be resumed in phases.

No more than 20 people, including actors and technical assistants, will gather with the permission of the local administration. It said public places could be used for shooting in rural areas and such places should be in non-restricted areas.

"Tourists will be barred from entering," the statement said. It says that except for artists, everyone else should wear masks and follow the rules of social distance.

Shooting of films and other productions has been suspended since mid-March due to the corona virus epidemic.

Speaking to a delegation of representatives from the entertainment industry, especially Marathi cinema, Thackeray said, "Following the rules of social distance, the government is considering resumption of shooting and production of government television and films with limited staff."

Industry insiders have also been asked to come up with a comprehensive plan. The delegation's main demands include opening a single-screen theater, helping weaker music producers and waiving GST on film production.
