Surprising News for CID Fans: Season 2 of CID to Stream on Netflix latest news: For CID fans who use Netflix and wish to watch it there, the hit crime thriller TV show CID will soon be available for streaming on Netflix as well. It originally premiered on Sony LIV.
Netflix made the announcement on Thursday, stating:
"CID is now at Netflix’s door too. Watch all released episodes of the new season on Netflix starting tomorrow! Plus, new episodes every Saturday and Sunday night at 10 PM. CIDonNetflix"
Season 2 consists of 18 episodes. Streaming on Netflix will begin on February 21, 2025, with fresh episodes airing every Saturday and Sunday from then onwards.
The show will also continue to be available on Sony TV and Sony LIV as per schedule.
CID, which originally aired Season 1 in 1998, has now returned with Season 2 in a web format as well. The first season achieved the milestone of 1,500 episodes and ran for 20 years. It is one of the longest-running Indian TV series. The first season ended in 2018.
The second season began airing on December 21, 2024.
The show stars Shivaji Satam, Dayanand Shetty, and Aditya Srivastava. The cast also includes Narendra Gupta, Ansha Sayed, and Ajay Nagrath.
