Mumbai: Legendary actor Rishi Kapoor’s passed away on April 30 and left a void in the film industry that is irreplaceable. But his millions and millions of fans will now be able to see his last and incomplete film Sharmaji Namkeen in cinemas.
It is pertinent to be mentioned here that Juhi Chawla is also in a lead role in Sharmaji Namkeen and most of the shooting of the film is completed. The film is being directed by Hitesh Bhatia.
Hitesh believes that this film is the only chance for his fans to say goodbye. According to a media report, Excel Entertainment and co-producer Honey Trehan have decided to complete the film to pay homage to Rishi Kapoor and bring happiness to their fans again.
Honey Trehan also said, "I am thankful to the producers of this film, Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, who are not only investing in this film but are emotionally attached to it." Rishi Kapoor died on April 30 in Mumbai while battling cancer.
Sharmaji Namkeen is Rishi’s last film, which remained incomplete after his death. Therefore, his fans are very anxious to see this film.
