The Traitors India Season 1 Finale: Uorfi Javed and Nikita Luther Crowned Winners Latest News: The much-anticipated finale of The Traitors India streamed yesterday at 8:00 PM, wrapping up an intense season filled with twists, suspense, and emotional moments. In a surprising turn of events, two innocents — Uorfi Javed and Nikita Luther — emerged victorious, defeating the traitors in a dramatic showdown.
Earlier, several names had been speculated as the winners, with fans strongly betting on Purav Jha. There were even reports claiming Uorfi’s name had leaked as the winner ahead of the finale. However, it wasn’t until the final episode aired that the truth was revealed.
Purav Jha, who had been a traitor from the very beginning, played a strong strategic game. He was joined later by Harsh, who was recruited by Purav during the course of the show. The traitor duo made it to the finale, where both traitors and innocents worked together to complete a puzzle in the desert, successfully adding to the prize pool — taking the total amount to around rupees 70 lakh.
Earlier, it seemed the traitors were winning it. But a critical error changed the game’s trajectory. In a key moment, Purav, Harsh, and Uorfi were sitting in a room when Uorfi left. What happened next, a forbidden act committed by the two traitors, sealed their fate. This misstep turned Uorfi into the game-changer, leading to Purav’s elimination first, followed by Harsh’s.
Following the episode, host Karan Johar took to Instagram to thank viewers for their overwhelming response. “Thanks for the tons of messages for the season and the finale of The Traitors,” he wrote in his story, while also requesting fans to refrain from sharing spoilers. “The show is a journey of delicious deceit… let everyone enjoy the gameplay!” he added.
Uorfi Javed made an emotional post after her win, reflecting on her journey from being the first contestant eliminated in Bigg Boss (also hosted by Karan Johar) to now winning The Traitors.
“From losing Bigg Boss (being the first one to be eliminated) to winning The Traitors,” she wrote.
“The journey wasn’t easy — I’ve cried so many times, had countless breakdowns, wanted to give up and run away. I’ve been called names, received death and rape threats, faced online and offline hate — but I never stopped. Maybe the universe knew I needed this.”
Uorfi also shared how she had borrowed money from friends to buy clothes for Bigg Boss, unsure if she’d even be able to repay them. “People have always doubted me, even now. But the hate never has, and never will, stop me. I took out three traitors — that can’t be luck. Till the last moment, I didn’t give up. I strategised.”
Meanwhile, Nikita Luther gained admiration from fans and viewers alike. A fan post described her journey best. “From poker tables to betrayal tables — she played the long game and won it all.” A professional poker player turned reality star, Nikita truly lived up to the title of “poker champ turned master manipulator.”
If you missed the drama and thrill, the finale is still available on Amazon Prime Video.
