Mumbai: The Bollywood industry has suffered a major setback. Wajid Khan, one of the Sajid-Wajid duo of famous musicians in Bollywood, has passed away. Wajid Khan was admitted to the hospital late night on May 31.
Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam has shared the news of Wajid Khan's death on social media.
Priyanka Chopra also tweeted,“Terrible news. The one thing I will always remember is Wajid bhai’s laugh. Always smiling. Gone too soon. My condolences to his family and everyone grieving. Rest in peace my friend. You are in my thoughts and prayers.@wajidkhan7”
Wajid Khan made his Bollywood debut in Salman Khan's 1998 film Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya. Wajid's last song also came with Salman Khan. Apart from this, he won the love of the people with his many other hit songs. In 2011, he was also awarded the Filmfare Award for Dabangg's music.
