Did Hania Aamir Appealed to PM Narendra Modi To Not Punish Innocent Pakistanis for Terrorist Acts?
Aamir's alleged plea comes amid escalating tensions between India and Pakistan.
Amid tensions between India and Pakistan, a social media post is going viral claiming that the Pakistani actress Hania Aamir has publicly addressed the Indian government's decision to ban the Pakistani entertainment industry in response to the Pahalgam terror attack, which claimed 26 lives.
In an alleged Instagram story, it is being claimed that Hania Aamir urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to reconsider the blanket ban, emphasizing that ordinary Pakistani citizens and artists are not responsible for the actions of militants or the military establishment.
"Just because of General Asim Munir's actions in Kashmir, the entire Pakistani entertainment industry has been banned in India, and even social media accounts are being restricted," she stated. "We, the common people of Pakistan, have done nothing wrong to India. It is the Pakistani army and Islamist terrorists who are behind the Pahalgam terrorist attack," the viral post reads.
However, there is confirmation of the same as the majority of people are calling the claims baseless.
