Senior leader offers condolences, assures community support to families of three teenagers who died in Ganga river tragedy

Senior BJP leader and Himachal Pradesh Co-in-charge Sanjay Tandon, who also served as former Chandigarh BJP President, on Tuesday visited the grieving families of three teenagers from Sector 30 who drowned in the Ganga river.

The victims — Bharat alias Bittu, Shivanshu and Nitish — lost their lives in the tragic incident that has left the local community in mourning.

During his visit, Tandon offered heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the peace of the departed souls. He assured them of the community's support during this difficult period.

"The untimely demise of these three young boys is an irreparable loss for their families as well as for society. No words can truly lessen the pain of parents who have lost their children. I pray to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed souls and give strength and courage to the bereaved families to bear this immense loss," Tandon said.

He added that standing by affected families and extending moral support was a collective responsibility in such moments of sorrow. "We share their grief and pray that they find the strength to overcome this tragedy," he said.

Tandon was accompanied during the condolence visit by several BJP leaders and residents, including Deputy Mayor Suman Devi, Pradesh Pravakta Naresh Arora, Rajinder Kaur Rattu, Inder Jeet Kala, Mandal President Ravi Rawat, BJP Mahila Morcha Chandigarh President Sonam Verma, Veena Mamgai, Rajni Talwar, Vipin Kumar, Prem Gupta, Kashish Mahajan, Ridhi Soni, and other residents of the ward, all of whom expressed their sympathies with the bereaved families.
