CBFC clears 'Batwara 1947' with 'A' certificate without a single cut; Sunny dedicates film to his mother

Sunny Deol broke down in tears at the trailer launch event of the film 'Batwara 1947'. During the event, Shabana Azmi shared a deeply emotional incident related to the shoot. Shabana shared that during a difficult scene, Sunny stepped in and helped her like a son would. At the trailer launch, Shabana Azmi recalled a difficult scene from the film. She shared that there's a scene where the villain drags her and tears her kurta. Shabana said, "As a person, I have never felt so helpless in my life. But when Sunny came and put a dupatta over me, in real life he became my son and protector. I hugged him tightly. In a 50-year career, feeling such genuine emotion because of a co-star is a big thing."

Speaking about her experience working with the Deol family, Shabana Azmi laughed as she spoke. She said, "My last film with Dharmendra ji was 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani'. Now this film is coming with his son Sunny and grandson Karan. I could do a film with Abhay too. Now all of you tell Bobby that he should also get ready to work with me." Everyone present at the event burst into laughter at Shabana's remark.
