"Spider-Man: Brand New Day," starring Tom Holland and Zendaya, has crossed Rs 100 crore in India within just two days of its release. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the film hit Indian theatres on Thursday in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam, in both 2D and 3D formats, releasing a day before its global rollout.
The cast includes Holland as Peter Parker / Spider-Man, along with Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, and Sadie Sink. Data from trade tracking website Sacnilk shows the film collected Rs 72.44 crore gross on its opening day, followed by Rs 59.02 crore on day two, bringing its total box office haul to Rs 131.46 crore gross.
