PM Modi Chairs High-Level Meeting to Review Petroleum, Power, & Fertiliser Supply Situation
The meeting is being attended by Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, J. P. Nadda, and Nirmala Sitharaman, among others.
A high-level meeting chaired by Narendra Modi is currently underway to review the situation in the petroleum, crude oil, gas, power, and fertilizer sectors amid the evolving situation in West Asia.
According to sources, the meeting is focused on ensuring uninterrupted supply, stable logistics, and efficient distribution across the country.
The meeting is being attended by Amit Shah (Union Home Minister), Rajnath Singh (Defence Minister), J. P. Nadda (BJP National President and Union Health Minister), and Nirmala Sitharaman (Finance and Corporate Affairs Minister), among others.
In a separate development, around two dozen countries, including the UAE, the UK, and Japan, issued a joint statement condemning recent attacks by Iran on unarmed commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz and thereby blocking it for the shipment of goods.
